Cyber Moves has officially launched, introducing a capability-first approach to cyber talent designed for organisations operating under real security pressure.

Built for CISOs, CTOs, COOs, founders, and senior security leaders, Cyber Moves addresses a growing issue in the cybersecurity market: not every security challenge is a hiring problem, but most are treated as one.

A market problem hiding in plain sight

The cyber security sector does not suffer from a lack of talent or ambition. What it suffers from is misalignment.

Too often, roles are scoped without enough context, capability gaps are treated as permanent headcount needs, and decisions are made under tight deadlines using models that prioritise speed or volume over fit and outcome.

The result is familiar across the industry: capable people placed into the wrong environments, delivery slowed by friction, and organisations carrying unnecessary risk for longer than they should.

Cyber Moves was created to address this reality.

Capability-first, not placement-first

Unlike traditional recruitment firms, Cyber Moves does not begin with a hiring assumption.

Its operating philosophy is simple:

Most talent partners help organisations hire. Cyber Moves helps organisations solve capability problems. Those are not the same thing.

In many cases, the right answer is a permanent hire, and, when that is the case, Cyber Moves delivers elite permanent talent with precision, discretion, and market intelligence.

In others, the right answer may be short-term specialist support, fractional expertise, or immediate delivery capability. Cyber Moves provides those options, too.

By removing the need to default to a single model, organisations can make decisions based on outcomes rather than constraints.

Founded by practitioners of the market

Cyber Moves was founded by Ryan Harrison-Virani and Nouri Saoudi, following years of working across cyber recruitment, commercial delivery, and security operations in the UK, Europe, and internationally.

Ryan brings over eight years of experience operating at the intersection of cyber talent, market timing, and strategic introductions. His work has included building entire cyber functions, placing senior commercial and technical leaders, and connecting organisations with the right partners at moments where timing was critical.

Nouri combines deep experience in technical and commercial cyber hiring with a background in technology sales. His understanding of how cyber teams operate, commercially and operationally, enables him to align people, purpose, and performance in environments where delivery pressure is real.

Together, they founded Cyber Moves to reflect how cyber capability is actually built and deployed - not how traditional hiring models assume it should be.

An integrated capability model

Cyber Moves delivers through four integrated service lines, each designed to support organisations at different points in the security lifecycle:

  • Cyber Recruit – elite permanent hiring across cyber commercial and technical roles, focused on long-term performance rather than volume

  • Cyber Deploy – a pre-vetted bench of on-demand cyber specialists who can step in quickly to maintain momentum when deadlines compress, or internal capacity is stretched

  • StrikeTeam – an embedded Cyber Moves consultant operating as an extension of the internal team, owning the cyber talent function with pace and accountability

  • Cyber Connect – access to a curated ecosystem of proven cyber providers, selected for capability and delivery rather than marketing claims

This integrated framework allows organisations to respond to pressure with precision - deploying the right capability at the right moment.

Built for leaders operating under pressure

Cyber Moves works with organisations where security decisions carry real consequences.

Its clients do not need more CVs, noise, or generic suppliers. They need partners who understand cyber-specific roles, delivery realities, and what “good” looks like in high-stakes environments.

Cyber Moves was built to meet that need.
